AFRY and MIKA were honoured with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award for the concept of the autonomous transport solution, Rolling Jenny.
MIKA Innovation chose AFRY for our expertise in high-end design. Together, we set out to redefine sustainable goods transportation through an autonomous, electric, and software-driven solution.
Red Dot Design Award is one of the world’s largest design competitions.

AFRY has been awarded the prestigious Platinum Rating by EcoVadis, the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. With a total score of 83 out of 100, AFRY now once again ranks among the top 1% of all assessed companies in sustainability performance.

Forbes has recognised AFRY Management Consulting as a top consultancy in their 2025 survey examining international management consultancies. Statista conducted a survey to rank global management consultancies across 13 industries and 15 functional consulting areas, based on feedback from peers and clients. AFRY Management Consulting was recognised as “frequently recommended” in the Energy and Environment category and Digital Transformation, and "recommended" in the Sustainability category.

Statista and Brand Eins examined the German management consulting market to find out which management consultancies provide the best support across 17 industries and 21 consulting areas. AFRY Management Consulting was recognised for excellence in the industry categories of Energy & Environment and Transport, traffic and logistics, as well as the consulting areas of Digitalisation and Sustainability.

Certifications
AFRY’s tram project awarded with a BREEAM Infrastructure rating as first tram project in Finland
Implemented as an alliance project involving collaboration between multiple engineering and construction partners, including AFRY, the project placed an exceptional emphasis on sustainability. The project was recognized with a BREEAM Infrastructure certification in November 2024, being the first tram project in Finland to receive such a recognition.
