Massimo Liu, Senior Consultant within AFRY Management Consulting's Energy practice, provides his view on working at AFRY.
What is your role at AFRY, and what is your professional background?
I am a Senior Consultant within MCD’s Energy practice, reporting to the Hydrogen Expertise Cluster. By training as a Mechanical Engineer, I’ve worked as a Materials Engineer and Risk Consultant before my role at AFRY in Energy & Decarbonisation.
What do you enjoy about working for AFRY Management Consulting?
The people are the first thing that comes to mind – we have a nice bunch, colleagues feel like schoolmates, friends. Everyone is always happy to lend a helping hand in the office or have a drink after work. We really enjoy each other’s company.
When did your work at AFRY allow you to contribute towards Making Future?
My market design project looking at designing a world-first Stability Market and leading the development of a global green hydrogen strategy for a large developer – of no doubt novel topics that will be shaping the energy landscape of tomorrow.
Besides your job. Tell us more about yourself. What do you like outside your work?
Outside of work, I gravitate towards lots of travelling – trying to taste as many foods as I can, getting to know as many people and nations as I can. Nibbling at the knowledge and diversity surrounding me.
