AFRY, Granular Energy and Nord Pool have been undertaking a project commissioned by NESO to evaluate the impact of 24/7 carbon-free energy trading on the electricity system, and to demonstrate 24/7 carbon-free energy trading in pilot.

During this webinar we:

  • Summarise the results of modelling illustrating how 24/7 clean-energy trading can benefit system-wide operation

  • Discuss implications for policy makers

  • Summarise the results of the trading pilot and introduce the next phase
