AFRY invites you to an exclusive, invitation-only executive forum bringing together senior leaders across the European mining sector. This inaugural conference is designed for high-level exchange on strategic, technical, and sustainability challenges.

Fee: The conference fee, €50, will be invoiced after the event.

Accommodation

A block of rooms has been reserved at Holiday Club Katinkulta. Please note that everyone is expected to book their own accommodation at the hotel through the website of the hotel, see link below.

Using the campaign code AFRY26, the special rates are €101 for a single room and €119 for a double room for the period 26–28 August 2026. The rate includes breakfast and access to the spa. The offer is valid until 13 August 2026.

We strongly encourage all participants to book their accommodation well in advance to ensure availability. Individual reservations made under the special rate can be cancelled by 18:00 on the day of arrival.

Andrew Hall

VP and Head of Mine Smarter

Andrew Hall serves as Vice President and Head of Mine Smarter at AFRY, where he leads the development of advanced mining advisory and optimization solutions within the Mining & Metals division. He brings more than 30 years of experience in mining and project management, with strong expertise in strategy optimization, feasibility studies, and technical due diligence across global mining projects.

Juhana Litja

Head of Mining & Metals, Finland

Juhana is responsible for leading the mining & metals value chain activities covering services throughout the project development phases from initial conceptual ideation to feasibility studies and project implementation. With a strong leadership role in AFRY’s key industrial sector, Juhana works closely with expert teams to support sustainable and efficient project execution for clients.

Toni Anttila

Director and Head of Engineering Delivery & Local Sales North, Finland

Toni serves as Director & Head of Engineering, where he leads regional operations and client engagement across Northern Finland. He is responsible for delivering engineering and project services to industrial clients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality and tailored solutions. With extensive leadership experience in engineering & project management, Toni plays a key role in supporting regional development & strengthening customer partnerships in Northern Finland.

Ville-Matti Seppä

Head of Mining & Minerals Processing, Finland

Ville‑Matti leads expert teams and delivers mine planning and minerals processing services for mining industry clients. He has extensive experience in mineral exploration, resource modelling, and economic geology. He has also acted as a Qualified/Competent Person in international resource reporting projects, ensuring high standards of technical credibility and compliance.

Mikko Lamberg

Head of Business Sector Mining & Metals, Finland

Mikko serves as Head of Mining and Metals for Finland at AFRY within the Process Industries division, where he is responsible for the strategic development of the sector and key client projects. He has strong expertise in sustainable mining, metals processing, and the feasibility and concept studies of large-scale mining projects.

Risto Jyrkkä

Sales Director, Key Accounts, Mining & Metals

Risto serves as Sales Director in the Mining & Metals sector at AFRY, bringing 30+ years of experience in the industry. He leads customer relationships and business development for strategic industrial clients, working closely with AFRY’s multidisciplinary expert network to deliver high-quality engineering, advisory, and project services tailored to client needs. He plays a key role in strengthening long-term partnerships & supporting clients in achieving their business & sustainability goals.

Antti Koulumies, CEO, Terrafame

Antti and his team are focused on guiding the company through a pivotal phase of transformation and growth. Their mission is to strengthen Terrafame’s role as a key European player in the critical minerals value chain.

Antti has a background at McKinsey & Company, Outotec and UPM, with a degree in industrial management from Aalto University in Helsinki. He has extensive experience in steering companies and business units with full profit and loss responsibility. Antti's background also spans strategy development and execution, group-level management accounting, growth initiatives, large-scale cost optimization programs, and M&A transactions.
