Development in cell chemistry, types and new battery technologies is ever-rapid. In this talk, we will dive into the current standings, trends, and impact of diversification in battery technologies, applications, manufacturing and cell format. We will also touch on the interplay between chemistry and how the integration into the module, pack and vehicle is impacted.
Per Åström has over 25 years of experience in various roles within the industrial sector, developing extensive experience especially in the battery sector. He has been involved in battery gigafactories projects in Europe, as well as with start-up companies, and has coordinated several projects and due diligence in the industry.

Charging infrastructure
Efficient and sustainable charging of electric vehicles
Establishing a reliable and robust ecosystem of charging infrastructure, power grids, and renewable energy sources is essential for decarbonising the transport sector. At certain locations and times, high charging power—up to several megawatts—is critical. In other cases, leveraging surplus wind and solar energy as it is produced can make transportation systems more efficient in both emissions and cost.
Steffen Schaefer is a digital expert with a degree in computer science. He has worked on strategies and solutions for automotive companies, utilities, charge point operators, investors, and regulators.
Yasmine Assef has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry, and supports clients in energy transition, with a focus on decarbonised transport, e-mobility and energy flexibility.
