AFRY performs aircraft physical inspections
Last week, AFRY was selected by SGI Aviation to perform aircraft physical inspections on three aircrafts in Scandinavia.
In February 2020, AFRY introduced Resource Support as a new service, and through this AFRY can, in short notice, assist airlines, leasing companies, AMOs or other 3rd party companies with highly experienced interim managers or with Aircraft Maintenance Engineering expertise. Now, SGI, a central European aviation company has selected AFRY to perform aircraft physical inspections on three aircrafts in Scandinavia. Subject service includes inspections of fuselage, wings, engines, landing gear, cockpit and cabin interior, aircraft documentation review and verification of proper aircraft storage.
“In these challenging times, we are very humbled that we were selected by our valued clients to perform aircraft owner inspections in areas where borders are closed or people movements are limited”, says Henrik Fjeld, Head of Aviation Advisory at AFRY.
“I am extremely proud of our employees that in short notice and in challenging times assist our customers to secure operational status of their assets”, says Kim Hansen, Managing Director, Aviation & Transport Advisory at AFRY
