Strengthening the link between industry and the defence talents of the future
AFRY has signed a cooperation agreement with the Academic Officers’ Society in Stockholm (AOS), a network for students and alumni with a military background at Stockholm’s universities. The partnership aims to increase interest in the defence sector and create new opportunities for knowledge exchange between academia and industry.
Through the collaboration with AOS, AFRY is taking further steps to strengthen its position as a leading player in defence technology and security. AOS works to reduce the mental distance to total defence among young people, promote security policy discussions, and build networks between students and the defence industry.
We are proud to initiate this collaboration. It gives us a unique opportunity to meet the talents of the future and contribute to strengthening total defence,
says Pär Lundberg, VP and Head of Defence Technology at AFRY.
AFRY is the Nordic region’s largest independent consultancy in defence technology, with over 300 experts worldwide and projects in more than 12 countries. Through the partnership with AOS, AFRY aims to inspire more young people to engage in the defence sector and highlight career paths within both civil and military technology.
