AFRY’s Youth Panel at COP26

The youth perspective on sustainability is raising more and more engagement – highlighting the need to take immediate action. And it is time that we actually start to listen.

That is why AFRY has decided to launch its own Youth Panel. Their first assignment has been to define which questions we should bring to the table at COP26.

Youth perspective on sustainability and COP26

On Friday 5 November the whole day is dedicated to elevating the voice of young people and demonstrating the critical role of public empowerment and education in climate action. The youth perspective on sustainability and climate, in particular, is crucial. We know that the young generation and generations to come will face challenging times – they will be responsible for saving a world in crisis; a crisis which they have inherited from previous generations.

AFRY launches Youth Panel within sustainability

With this in mind, AFRY has launched a Youth Panel that advocates and speaks for our young employees on issues related to sustainability: our targets, our strategies, our daily work and our participation in COP26. Join us in our next session at COP26 taking place at 10.00-10.45 CET on Friday 5 November: Driving sustainability from a youth perspective

During this session AFRY’s CEO, Jonas Gustavsson, and Head of Sustainability, Marie Trogstam, will engage in discussions together with AFRY’s Youth Panel, Fredrika Andersson and Amanda Björksell – Youth Representatives for Sweden during COP26 – and Johanna Blendow, Head of Global Strategic Initiatives at Norrsken Foundation, about how to be part of the solution.
