Dear clients, partners, colleagues, and friends,

2025 is coming to an end and we thank you for your trust in AFRY and reflect on all that has been accomplished this year.

This holiday season, we are proud to yet again support UNICEF and their efforts for children and young people. Our donation empowers UNICEF to allocate resources where and when they are most urgently needed, maximizing the impact for children worldwide.

While celebrating our 130th anniversary, and opening a new chapter for AFRY, during 2025 we partnered with clients across the world on transformative projects. Here are just a few highlights:

In the energy sector, AFRY supported the development of major projects around the globe from nuclear power in Finland to the world’s largest hybrid solar project in the Philippines.
We welcomed Reta, a Brazilian leader in project and construction services, into the AFRY group.
Thanks to you, AFRY was once again recognized as #1 in Pulp & Paper, while helping to modernize paper mills around the world from Arkansas in the United States to Portugal and further.
Our experts worked on several infrastructure projects around Europe from extending Finland's busiest railway section to cutting-edge AI-supported traffic data analysis in Switzerland.
Our architects designed inspiring projects such as the Vltava Philharmonic Hall in Prague in Czech Republic while the designers received the prestigious Red Dot Design Award for the concept of the autonomous transport solution, Rolling Jenny in collaboration with our partner MIKA.
During the year, we launched the Fossil Detox Progress report exploring the climate challenge, highlighting key sectors and enablers for accelerating the transition to a sustainable future.
To close, we celebrate two milestones rooted in our Nordic heritage: relocating the historic church in Kiruna (in Swedish), northern Sweden above the Arctic Circle to preserve culture while enabling innovation, and honoring our road safety pioneer Claes Tingvall, recognized by the King of Sweden for his lifelong work and groundbreaking ‘Nollvision’, Zero vision concept.
