Tuukka Sormunen Interim Head of T&P
Tuukka Sormunen has been appointed Interim Executive Vice President and Head of Global Division Transportation & Places
Tuukka Sormunen has been appointed Interim Executive Vice President and Head of Global Division Transportation & Places, thereby joining the Executive Team. He succeeds Robert Larsson, who announced that he will take on a new role outside of AFRY earlier this year. Tuukka Sormunen will take on his new role on November 1, 2025.
Tuukka Sormunen has 25 years of experience in engineering and project management consultancy business. He is currently responsible for the Public & Commercial Places Global Segment at AFRY consisting of about 3,000 experts in Europe.
He is a member of AFRY's Extended Leadership Team and the management team of Global Division Transportation & Places. Previously he has held several leadership and managerial positions at AFRY including heading the Business Area Process Industries Finland and heading the Global Business Sector Chemicals & Biorefining.

Robert Larsson will leave AFRY as of October 31, 2025, at which point Tuukka Sormunen will step into the new role. Tuukka will remain in his role as Head of Segment Public & Commercial Places.
