ÅF expands in Infrastructure Planning

This municipal company has approximately 100 employees engaged in consulting activities relating to investigations, analyses and the project engineering and project management of existing and new infrastructure investments in the Gothenburg region. The market for these kinds of consulting services is strong, with decisions already made to implement a number of major infrastructure projects in and around Gothenburg with an investment horizon of more than ten years. The purchase price is SEK 26 million (approx. EUR 2.7 million). Business will be consolidated into the results of the ÅF Group with effect from 1 September. This acquisition underlines ÅF's resolve to expand even further within the sphere of Infrastructure Planning. With a total of some 450 consultants after the acquisition, ÅF is now one of Sweden's leading names in this field. The acquisition also strengthens ÅF's presence in the Gothenburg region, where the company will now have approximately 500 consultants.
