ÅF receives project planning assignment from Swedavia

ÅF is once again entrusted with expansion of Arlanda’s Terminal 5. The assignment covers land and construction planning worth approximately SEK 56 million to be delivered in summer 2019.
ÅF has worked with Swedavia on the expansion of Arlanda for two years. With this project ÅF continues as a trusted partner on a general consultancy assignment for land and construction planning for the northeastern area of the airport – mainly Terminal 5.

The project planning assignment is expected to run until June 2019 with an estimated budget of nearly SEK 56 million, followed by continued collaboration, including production support and consultancy services during the implementation until summer 2024. The assignment includes project planning for approximately 34 hectares of ramp area around the new pier to be built.
Going forward, the terminal will also expand its retail space and will get a new security check area, luggage handling system and luggage hall for arriving passengers.
