AFRY acquires XPRO in Norway

Thu, 02/03/2023 - 08:00 CET

The acquisition of XPRO strengthens AFRYS’s position and capacity within project and construction management and paves way for further development of new and existing offerings regionally and nationally.

XPRO has a leading position in project development and project management in the Northwest of Norway. With 40 experienced employees and offices in Molde, Ålesund, and Kristiansund, XPRO has earned the trust to lead the execution of many of the largest and most complex projects in the region. In addition, XPRO delivers independent verification services to clients across Norway.

XPRO will join Advansia, part of AFRY, which is Norway's largest professional environment within project and construction management. With 500 employees Advansia leads major hospital, airport, and cultural construction projects across the country.

“Advansia and XPRO complement each other really well. We have the same commitment to delivering high quality projects and we both have a culture that focus on professional environment and sharing of expertise. Together, we are well equipped to develop new and existing offerings,” says Vegard Storvik, CEO of XPRO.

There is a high level of activity in the Northwest of Norway and there are plans for larger investments within urban development and the industry and energy sector in the coming years.

“Together with XPRO we increase our offerings and capacity, benefiting both our clients and employees. With regional offices in each part of Norway, we are set up to be a significant partner across the country,” says Christopher Klepsland, Country Manager Norway at AFRY and CEO of Advansia.

XPRO works with both public and private clients and has an annual turnover of around NOK 70 million. XPRO is planned to be consolidated in AFRY in July 2023.
