Advansia, part of AFRY, has been awarded a framework agreement with the Norwegian Defence Estate Agency (NDEA) for strategic advisory services within property, buildings and infrastructure.
NDEA plays a key role in long-term planning for the defense sector, where buildings and property development are central to Norway’s defense capability. This new framework agreement enables comprehensive and continuous planning of this, including the development of structural plans, long-term perspective plans, and NDEA’s project portfolio.
Advansia leverages expertise across AFRY and partners with the advisory company OPAK and research institute SINTEF to ensure both breadth and depth in its deliveries.
“Building a strong team that can deliver quality at every stage is essential for us. Through our holistic approach, we look forward to strengthening the Armed Forces’ operational capability and supporting their vital societal mission,” says Per Åkerman, Head of Public & Commercial Places, Norway.
AFRY brings extensive experience from the defense sector across Scandinavia. In Norway, Advansia already holds several national framework agreements with NDEA for project and construction management. This new agreement gives NDEA access to a broad range of AFRY’s strategic competencies.
In total, three suppliers have been awarded this framework agreement with NDEA, with a combined estimated value of approximately NOK 275 million over five years. The exact order value for AFRY is not disclosed.
