He will take up his new position on 1 April. Since 2010 Fredrik has been Vice President of ÅF's Industry Division. Fredrik is 41 years old and has a degree in Business Administration & Economics from Uppsala University and a B.Sc. in Engineering from Sweden's KTH Royal Institute of Technology. He has a solid background in the industry and joined ÅF in 2008 after having held a variety of managerial positions over an eight-year period with Sweco. "Fredrik is highly experienced and personifies a modern style of leadership. He has demonstrated great ability in motivating those closest to him to pull together in order to produce good results. I'm delighted that Fredrik has accepted the challenge of leading the Technology Division to a position as a principal player in advanced product development and IT," says Jonas Wiström, President and CEO of the ÅF Group. "I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Mats Boström for the outstanding job he has done in terms of integrating Epsilon's operations with those of ÅF. The process is running smoothly and according to plan," says Jonas Wiström. Mats Boström has decided to vacate his position as President of the Technology Division on 1 April in order to work with his own investments and projects. "I've been working for 15 years in the consulting industry, the past ten years as CEO of Epsilon. Now, having overseen the initial phase of Epsilon's integration into the ÅF Group, I feel the time is ripe for me to put what I've learned to the test in new areas other than consulting," Mats Boström says.
