Positive outcome in the dispute with Danir AB
The arbitral tribunal has today issued its award in the dispute between ÅF Pöyry AB and Danir AB regarding the calculation of additional consideration for ÅF Pöyry's acquisition of Epsilon Holding AB in 2012.
The arbitral tribunal has today issued its award in the dispute between ÅF Pöyry AB and Danir AB regarding the calculation of additional consideration for ÅF Pöyry's acquisition of Epsilon Holding AB in 2012.
The arbitral tribunal ruled in favour of ÅF Pöyry and largely dismissed Danir’s claims. The award is in line with ÅF Pöyry’s expectations and already accounted risk provisions. It will have a slightly positive effect on ÅF Pöyry's income statement.
“The arbitral tribunal has made a clear ruling and we can now put this process and the claim of almost SEK 1 BN behind us. The position we have had from the beginning, that Danir's claims for additional consideration are without merit, has now been confirmed”, said Jonas Gustavsson, President and CEO.
