Ionic Consulting Limited is now a part of AFRY

Ionic Consulting Limited, a leading renewable electricity consultancy firm in Ireland, with over 60% market share, was consolidated into AFRY as of 1 July 2022.

Established in 2002 as Wind Prospect Group to meet the needs of the emerging Irish renewables industry, the company was rebranded as Ionic Consulting Limited in 2017 and began a strategic diversification of service offerings.

The company are leaders in the onshore wind market and have a growing presence in offshore wind, solar PV and energy storage. They have provided their customers with tailored services through financing to construction and beyond.

Sharing similar values, objectives and targets, Ionic Consulting complement AFRY’s goals and growth in clean energy. Ionic's team of consultants and engineers will further strengthen AFRY’s position with their comprehensive renewables expertise across a wide range of clean energy technologies.
