AFRY in Nigeria

AFRY has been implementing hydropower projects (HPP) in Nigeria since 2013 with our involvement in the two main hydropower schemes of the country, Kainji HPP and Jebba HPP, as well as Challawa dam, Dadin Kowa, Tiga dam and Zungeru HPP.

In 2019, AFRY established its branch office in Nigeria. The company is registered in Lagos and has site offices at Kainji and Jebba Hydro Powerplants. We provide various technical advisory services such as engineering for rehabilitation and newly built projects, project management, inflow forecast modelling for supporting plant operation and maintenance as well as construction management services in the field of hydropower.
