AFRY in Norway
AFRY was established in Norway in 1996, when at that time ÅF acquired Nielsen & Borge. The company had 20 employees. The growth really picked up speed when ÅF bought project management company Advansia in 2012 and consultancy company Reinertsen in 2016. In 2017, all acquisitions and disciplines were gathered to form ÅF Norway. In 2019, ÅF Group joined forces with Pöyry and became AFRY.
Today AFRY in Norway is an engineering and architectural company within construction, infrastructure, energy, and industry. The service areas include consulting in project development, project management, engineering, architecture, lighting design and digital solutions.
We have over 900 employees with offices in Oslo, Stavanger, Trondheim, Molde, Sarpsborg, Lillestrøm, Kristiansand, Bergen and Sandefjord.
