AFRY UK was formed after ÅF and Pöyry joined forces in February 2019. Pöyry previously had a long history in the UK, establishing its first UK office in 1966 and broadening its offerings in the 1990s and 2000s with Pöyry Management Consulting and Pöyry Capital. Pöyry UK continued to grow with Light Bureau joining the company in 2017, offering lighting solutions for infrastructure projects, architecture, and urban planning.
Today, AFRY UK comprises six offices in Horsham, London, Oxford, Plymouth, and Warrington. Our team of experts provides engineering, design and advisory services to clients working in infrastructure, industry, and energy. Furthermore, our Bioindustry Management Consulting team provides advice to clients across the bioeconomy value chains.
Our expertise in the UK covers all aspects of the clean energy transition, from market analysis and strategy to investments, project development and implementation, and operations. Sustainability is at the heart of everything that we do, and it is through sustainable solutions that we have the largest opportunity to contribute to achieving climate change goals in the UK and globally.
