AFRY has been implementing projects in Uruguay and has had a branch office and/or project activities already for decades. AFRY Uruguay has an official address in Montevideo for its companies Pilowin SA and Mifocor SA. AFRY has had a presence in Uruguay since 2014, when it provided the Owner’s Engineer services for the construction of the 520MW Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) in Punta del Tigre. At that time, AFRY opened a branch office to provide UTE with project management, design review, and construction, commissioning and performance test supervision of the power plant.
