AFRY is helping boost Gothenburg’s health care through the addition of a new specialist hospital for efficient and humancentric care

Gothenburg’s health care is being boosted through the addition of a new specialist hospital for efficient and humancentric care. The technology content is high, with several operating theatres, MRI and CT scans.

AFRY is contributing with 11 disciplines in areas such as building design, ventilation, medical gases, fire sprinkler systems, ground works and landscape architecture. AFRY also project manages the entire project.

There will be two hospital buildings, with a total floor area of 24,500 sqm, plus adjacent parking garage and supply building. The hospital will be ready to receive its first patients in 2023.
