The whistleblowing channel enables AFRY employees and external parties to raise concerns, in full confidence and without fear of retaliation. The platform is hosted by an independent third party and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Please note that this platform is not intended for customer service complaints or enquiries.

Who else can I speak to? Arrow pointing right

If you are an employee, we encourage you to report any incidents directly to your immediate manager or group functions such as HR or Legal. However, if you are uncomfortable reporting to your manager or other group functions, you can report anonymously using the whistleblowing channel.

External parties are encouraged to primarily report their concerns to their contact persons at AFRY but are welcome to use the whistleblowing channel if that is not appropriate.

What happens if I report a concern via the whistleblowing channel? Arrow pointing right

All reports through this channel are received by the Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer, who has overall responsibility for investigating the reports and giving feedback to the whistleblower. Investigations are fact based, conducted in the strictest confidence and in accordance with AFRY’s investigation procedures.

AFRY will not tolerate any form of retaliation directed against anyone who raises a concern in good faith about a possible violation of the AFRY Code of Conduct. In fact, any act of threat of retaliation will be treated as a serious Code of Conduct violation and is subject to disciplinary action.

When reporting a concern to the whistleblowing channel, you will be asked if you wish to share your identity. Although we encourage you to “Speak Up” freely, anonymous reports are accepted and handled. Only persons with a need-to-know basis will be involved in dealing with the matter to protect the integrity of all involved parties.

AFRY will handle your personal data with strict confidentiality and in accordance with our privacy policies when you report a concern through the whistleblowing channel. Other external persons can refer to the relevant sections of the AFRY privacy notice depending on their category (e.g., section 3.3 for customers, section 4.3 for partners and subconsultants etc.)
