What do you do as a consultant at AFRY, and how long have you been doing this?
I joined AFRY Management Consulting in 2006 as an analyst in energy consulting. Since then, I have been working with a variety of energy market topics within electricity markets, fuel markets, the heating sector and climate and energy policy. I have been constantly given new responsibilities within the company, and in June 2019, I was appointed the office head of energy consulting in Finland, leading our team of about 25 energy consultants.
What do you like about being a consultant at AFRY?
The variety of topics makes my job interesting, as well as the possibility to continuously learn new things. One inspiring aspect in my work is the possibility of being part of energy policy development through the projects we do for the ministries and other key players in the market. I can see the results of our work, e.g. in the energy market legislation.
Besides your job. Tell us more about yourself. What do you like outside your work?
Besides work, I spend time with my family and two kids and enjoy sports, especially trail running in the forests. Sometimes I also run to the office in the morning.
