One of Sweden's most attractive employers

AFRY ranked as the second most attractive employer among young engineers

Today, the 2023 Employer Branding survey from Universum is released, which shows that AFRY has taken a prominent place as one of the most attractive employers among young engineers in Sweden.

We climb to a strong second place among BSc engineers in the category "young professionals", and are thus the highest-ranked company within our field in the category. Our eighth place among MSc engineers remains unchanged, with high marks from experienced professional groups. The results show that AFRY holds a strong position in the labor market.

Sara Klingenborg, HR-chef på AFRY
"The fact that we are ranked as the second most attractive employer among BSc engineers in Sweden is an indication of our ability to attract junior talent and reflects AFRY's commitment to offering a stimulating work environment."

- Sara Klingenborg, HR Director, AFRY

One of the most crucial insights from the survey is that professionals choose to stay with their current employer due to several key factors:

  • Responsibility and challenging work
  • Respect for others
  • Security

For those considering changing employers, the survey shows that it is an advantage if the employer offers the following:

  • Development
  • Advancement opportunities
  • Exciting products and services

AFRY's position in the latest survey confirms the company’s commitment to creating an attractive workplace for engineers, where they choose to stay. By offering responsibility, challenging work, respect, security for employees, as well as opportunities to work on exciting projects, AFRY has successfully positioned itself as one of the industry's leading employers.
