AFRY in Denmark
AFRY came to Denmark in 2006 with the acquisition of the consultancies Hansen & Henneberg and then Benima. However, growth in Denmark really picked up speed when, in 2017, the consultancies Midtconsult and Gottlieb Paludan Architects were acquired. In 2018 energy experts from P.A.P. also joined the AFRY family in Denmark. Therefore our strength is that we have many interdisciplinary competencies that we can draw upon – from Life Science to Automation, from Buildings to Transportation, amongst many others. It's always our ambition to be close to our customers locally, whilst benefitting from being part of a global organisation.
Today, AFRY in Denmark comprises eight offices and nearly 850 experts based throughout the country, from Aalborg in the North to Copenhagen in the East - and not to forget our office in Tórshavn in the Faroe Islands. We help our clients in the energy, infrastructure, and process industries with their digitalisation and sustainability efforts. Our solutions respond to global trends such as digitalisation, urbanisation, the energy transition, and the growth of the bioeconomy.
We support our clients through the whole project life cycle: from strategies and feasibility studies to technical consulting; from basic to detailed engineering; and from project management to operations and maintenance. Our projects also vary from small engineering assignments to large investment projects.
