New Zealand Society on Large Dams (NZSOLD) and Australian National Committee on Large Dams (ANCOLD) 2025 Conference

Under the conference theme "Building on the past, to deliver the future", AFRY’s hydro consultancy experts will bring fresh perspectives, share real-world case studies, and spotlight transformative technologies redefining the future of hydropower.

Dr. Matthias Goltz will also join the pre-conference workshop “Dam Regulations – Learning and Perspectives from New Zealand / Australia” on Wednesday, 19 November. The conference welcome reception will follow from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

Dr. Matthias Goltz has more than 20 years of experience in design and construction of hydropower schemes and dams, predominantly through international projects in Southeast Asia, Africa, South America, and Europe. He is an active member of the ICOLD Technical Committee on Cemented Material Dams.
