AFRY donates protective gear to hospital

AFRY's section Contaminated Areas, in Sweden, will donate their protective gear, including protective masks with a gas and particle filter, as well as single-use gloves, to healthcare workers.

"We have a stock of protective gear which we normally use when examining contaminated areas, but are able to spare these for the current crisis in the healthcare system," says Helene Spets, Section Manager Contaminated Areas.

Eleonora Karlsson, Sales Manager at AFRY, will facilitate the donation with the help of her sister who works as an ICU nurse at the Södersjukhuset hospital in Stockholm, and urges all offices to make an inventory of their stock.

"We found protective equipment that have been lying around collecting dust in many places, it will be of much better use at the hospitals right now, where some of the hospital staff are currently treating patients infected with Covid-19 without wearing protective gear," says Eleonora Karlsson.
