ÅF signs long-term agreement with AB Volvo

ÅF has been awarded a key framework agreement with AB Volvo. The agreement
applies to Engineering Services for the coming three years.

The framework agreement is valid for all of AB Volvo's units in Sweden.

The agreement covers development services for most existing disciplines,
including mechanical engineering, design, embedded systems, technical
documentation and technical calculations.

"We are proud that ÅF is being given this confidence to shoulder the role as a
strategic partner and supplier," says Fredrik Nylén, manager for ÅF's Technology
division.

"AB Volvo's strong confidence in ÅF despite the tough competition shows ÅF's
unique depth and breadth in these areas," says Bert Andersson, who holds the
overall responsibility for ÅF's business deals with AB Volvo.

For the most part, the project will be conducted by the ÅF unit in Gothenburg.
Units in Malmö, Eskilstuna and Växjö will also conduct extensive activities, as
well as the unit in Säffle, which ÅF took over from AB Volvo last autumn when ÅF
became a strategic partner.
