AFRY in Guinea

AFRY has been implementing projects in Guinea since 2018. In this time, we have worked in locations throughout Guinea and are involved in Agence Française de Développement (AFD) funded projects for Electricité De Guinée (EDG), who is responsible for the production, transport and distribution of electricity in Guinea. Until 2019, AFRY operated in Guinea under the AF-Consult brand.

Our local registered branch is AFRY Suisse Guinea which is based in Conakry. We currently provide services in national Technical and Distribution projects. This includes technical studies and analysis (e.g. Feasibility Studies, line routings, network calculations, financial analysis), site supervision (e.g. Civil, Electrical, HSEQ) and overall project management services.

AFRY have established this branch in the western part of French-speaking Africa to support both the national Guinean market and the wider region, in collaboration with nearby AFRY branches in Ivory Coast and Senegal. This large AFRY team provides depth of insight, economies of scale and access to a large number of local suppliers.

Through this increasing regional base of competence and expertise, we are perfectly placed to develop and support projects across all of AFRY's offerings. We invite new partners and business opportunities to support this branch which has full access to expertise from across AFRY.
