AFRY Switzerland Limited, Dubai branch (formerly known as Electrowatt Ekono Ltd. & Pöyry) was established to provide comprehensive locally-based engineering and consultancy services to the growing Middle East energy and water sectors. AFRY have been working in the United Arab Emirates since the 1970s and we established our Dubai office in 1996.

Our experts in the UAE have sound experience in the energy & power and management consulting fields:

• Transmission and Distribution: Our team have carried out detailed substation design services for various clients up to 400kV voltage levels and provided owner's engineering services for more than 45 substation development projects.
• Thermal and Renewables: We provide technical advisory and owner’s engineering services related to gas, wind, solar PV and reverse osmosis.
• Management Consulting: We support organisations through the energy transition by providing strategy, economic and market advisory services.

We support our clients throughout the whole project life cycle, from strategies and feasibility studies to technical consulting, from basic to detailed engineering, and from project management to operations and maintenance.
