How has AFRY tackled challenges in past client projects?

In this project, 100 AFRY consultants collaborated in Sweden and China in a life cycle management assignment of a whole test tool portfolio for one customer. The tested product is segmented into parts, each with a distinct test strategy. Each module constitutes advanced hardware that relies on extremely precise timing and rapid execution.

AFRY assumes complete product life cycle responsibility for the test tool portfolio, encompassing the evolution of a customized, high-performance hardware test platform and a series of test tools. Advanced customized test automation, along with continuous integration and deployment, is employed for the development and maintenance of the test tools, as well as those integrated into the customers' highly complex CI/CD pipeline.

AFRY boasts extensive experience in providing customers with customized test platforms and various test interfaces tailored to diverse needs. In a recent project with an international forklift customer, AFRY developed a comprehensive telematics platform, encompassing hardware, base software, applications, integration, and verification.

To ensure system stability and software quality, a custom Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test rig was created for regression, stability, and integration testing. Tests were triggered by developer commits and nightly pipelines in Microsoft Azure, with results and reports seamlessly integrated into Azure, facilitating code merges and artifact creation.

This product entails a globally distributed system for remote monitoring of industrial battery banks. Sensors on each battery log data such as voltage and temperature, with the cloud calculating the health of each battery weekly.

AFRY developed the entire system, including hardware, software, connectivity, web interface, and cloud infrastructure. Each component of the system has a corresponding test strategy, incorporating fully automated tests for the embedded controller (NUnit), Selenium tests for web interfaces, and end-to-end tests for the fully connected system.
