AFRY in Switzerland
AFRY has been implementing projects historically in Switzerland since 1895, through the founding of Motor Columbus and Electrowatt. In 1996, Electrowatt was acquired by the Pöyry Group and Motor Columbus, later Colenco Power Engineering, by ÅF in 2008. In 2016, ÅF also acquired Edy Toscano, founded in 1959. With the continuous expansion of AFRY business, branch offices were established in all four language regions of Switzerland.
Today, AFRY Switzerland has 20 national branch offices. We provide technical consulting, engineering design, project management, construction management services and management consulting for customers in the fields of infrastructure, energy, and industrial and digital solutions.
AFRY is a strong partner with rich local experience, providing a local access point to a network of 1000 national experts of over 50 different competences. With Switzerland’s global project presence in more than 20 countries, our clients benefit from deep industry knowledge and a global network of experts.
