Construction work environment coordinator
We oversee all aspects that are included by the Work Environment Act – both prior to construction and during. As an engineering and consulting company, we constantly cooperate with other disciplines. Together with architects, constructors, and projects managers, we guarantee the safety of a building’s future use and maintenance.
BAS-P & BAS-U
At AFRY, we provide expertise for the planning as well as the execution of a project. During the planning stage (BAS-P), we coordinate between different parties, making sure that all legal and order requirements are fulfilled. Then, at the construction site (BAS-U), we evaluate all risks and implement safety devices, thereby guaranteeing the safety of workers.
Safety Manager
A good safety manager is vital. In collaboration with companies, they make sure the workplace complies with health and safety laws, they establish policies, they identify hazards, and they actively seek to improve conditions and execute safety programs. Because of them, the company can rest easy.

We help clients comply with systematic work environment management (AFS 2001:01) provisions. By setting up routines and instructions, we make work environments safer. Moreover, this includes delegating responsibilities across the client’s daily operations.

Chemical safety
At AFRY, we advise our clients on how to properly handle chemicals, hazardous goods, and building residue. In addition, we offer insights on how businesses should set up daily routines, safety sheets, and protective measure in the workplace. By taking all necessary steps, and by producing the proper risk assessments, we ensure the safety of human health and the environment. This applies to risks posed by the natural presence of chemicals in the environment, as well as their extraction or synthesis, production, use, and disposal.
